Here is where I started

Logo Design

 

The client was not able, at this point, to take the time to go though the brainstorming process.  I tried to explain that it will be worth the time and energy but the client knew what she wanted deigned and knew her time frame. 

The concept that the client wanted me to work with was that "the yin yang is representing balance and Wyoming being more sunny that the last place the client lived."

I think that there is potential for a great redesign project in my future.  This company is an acupuncture and wellness center.  Designing for an acupuncture firm could potentially have some great concepts.  Maybe I will do this on my own, as a personal project.

I also created a business card for this client.

Disclaimer: I am not happy with this design as far as a portfolio goes but since this blog is 

graded on what I am learning and that I am doing something I am including it.

Busy Start

The first couple weeks this semester have been pretty crazy at the Wyoming Women's Business Center and the Works of Wyoming Art Gallery. I have had happy clients, new clients, upset clients, an art opening, a call for entries and I helped with a sewing workshop.

Verry In-Progress Website

Here is the beginning of the online store for the WOW gift shop and gallery.  It has quite a bit farther to go.  I am gathering information for this project and will be photographing more images soon.

Logo Design

Here are some of the beginnings of a logo/redesign for Empower Wyoming.  I will have more for this project next semester.  I was able to try the technique that Bill Garner taught us with this.  That is where much of the imagery came from.  I am not sure that I am too happy with them so far.

I started off trying to represent a female form and mountains in the top two.
